Treasures To Claim

When I was cleaning out the attic and going through my things, I decided it was time to do something about my salt and pepper shakers. I started a collection a long time ago. When I lived in Oklahoma I had room to display them. But now, they've been sitting in storage for 5 years.

I'm not much of an e-bay person--it seems like a hassle to try to sell them that way, and I'm quite sure most of them are not worth much. So I thought I would post them here; who knows, someone out there in blogland might see one or two, or several that they just can't live without.

So here's my fantastic offer. I would be happy to send you one or more (or all!) of these if you would like them. I don't want anything for them, other than the satisfaction of knowing that they have found a happy home.

In the above photo, 4 of these are sets that together form part of a whole; the yolk and egg separate into salt and pepper, the teapot and tea cup come out of the table, etc.

Just let me know if you are interested. I might want you to help with postage, but it should be minimal.

Maybe these can add some flavor to someone's life, just as salt and pepper add flavor to our food, and just as we are to be the "salt of the earth".

Hi Donna,
I would love the one in the last photo of the little tea cup and saucer with the cat in front of it.
If you would email me your address, I could send you what you think the postage would be. However you would like to do it.
I also like the set in the same photo with the strawberry basket. They are so pretty. I love salt and pepper sets and that is one thing I don't have many of! If you want a little extra, just let me know.
My email address is dianasiebels@gmail.com.
Love Di ♥

These bring back memories of ones my mother owned. She had a large bookcase special made for thier display. I would dust and clean them to surprise her. I do hope someone falls in love with yours.

Hi Donna, I'm friends with Rebecca and Wanda :)
Has anyone asked for the trains? I would love to give them to my mother. She and dad were married 60 yrs before he passed in '08...my dad was a railroad man for 38 years! We just redid her kitchen for her in Pale yellow & dark red with black accents. If no one has asked for them yet, I would love to buy them from you! Let me know, and Thanks!
