I am very honored that I have been given a blog award from Gina. Like so many others, I started my blog to just have an ongoing journal. It has been a way of just recording events and expressing my thoughts. I am grateful to my sister Brenda who actually encouraged me to start a blog.
However, I never could have imagined what a blessing the blog would be. I have met so many wonderful christian friends through this blog, and they have been such an encouragement . It's been really fun to get a peek into the lives of other people. I feel like I'm getting to know them and their families. I look forward to reading comments that others leave on my posts.
I have actually started a prayer list for prayer needs that have been expressed by my blogger friends. I feel like I know some of them, even though I've never met them.
Thank you to all of you who have brightened my days.

Donna, you do deserve this award. Thanks for taking the time to encourage bloggers and let them know that you enjoy and appreciate what they write. I am so impressed that you keep a blogging prayer list to pray for needs. That is a very special ministry.
You are my best pupil—okay my only pupil. I love to see you having fun with blogging and FB! We are both learning as we go. As you figure out something new, let me know because “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend (sister) sharpens a friend (sister).” Is that what that means? Probably not. Blessings on you.
